Athletes have the opportunity to access funding to concurrently pursue tertiary and vocational qualifications while pursuing excellence in sport. The programme funds professional development for the coaches, support team members and officials who are assisting these athletes to "win on the world stage.” Full information about this programme can be accessed through the High Performance Sport section at – http://www.sparc.org.nz/

Those interested in receiving a PMS are strongly recommended to read the Programme Guides, particularly the eligibility criteria. Triathlon NZ will rank and prioritise applicants based on a number of criteria including their ability to meet and maintain sporting performance whilst studying through the PMS programme. If choosing to study in 2012 then integrating a part time study load into a training and competing year is the recommendation of Triathlon NZ.
