Police Vetting
Tri NZ has an obligation to promote and support safe coaching practices, and to ensure youth triathletes in particular are being coached in environments where there is a 'professional duty of care'.
As of March 2012, all Tri NZ accredited coaches coaching athletes aged 17 years and younger are required to be police vetted. If this applies to you simply download the 'Authorisation to Disclose Information' form (see below), complete, sign and post to: Coaching Manager, Tri NZ, PO Box 128-509, Remuera, Auckland.
Important note: ONLY HARD COPIES of the form can be accepted - NO electronic copies.
