Inside Triathlon magazine has included Jo Lawn on its list of the top 10 female iron distance triathletes of all time.
Lawn is among elite company on the list, which also includes fellow Kiwi Erin Baker.
Wellington born and raised in Auckland, her journey in the sport of triathlon has seen her win Ironman New Zealand seven times already.
Lawn is world renowned for her able to stick in a race no matter what pain she's in or what obstacles are thrown in her way.
She proved that at IMNZ earlier this year when a puncture on the bike cost her almost 20 minutes, but she battled back to finish third overall behind Sam Warriner and Mirinda Carfrae.
Earlier this year Inside Triathlon named 10-time Ironman New Zealand winner Cameron Brown on the top 10 iron distance males of all time.
