
To gain gold level Tri NZ accreditation, Competition Managers must have the following:
Minimum of 5 years experience delivering multiple safe and fair events at both national and/or international level; and
Annually has approximately 1,000 or more participants in one or more events.

Wayne Reardon

Experience as a Competition Manager:
Wayne is one of NZ's most experienced Competition Manager's with 10 years experience as a Competition Manager (or Race Director) and 20 years in the Industry in other rolls. Wayne is highly regarded in the triathlon community and Tri NZ values the high level of professionalism and passion he puts into the sport.
Wayne is also a keen off road trail runner and road cyclist. He has been running for 30 odd years and completed Ironman NZ in 2004. Wayne's favourite moments in sport is watching people reach their goals and cross the finish line at the events he runs.
