Terenzo Bozzone and Sam Warriner have both had success over the Olympic distance at a triathlon in the United States.

Bozzone came home in second place while Warriner finished third at the Kemah Triathlon in Texas - consisting of a 1.5km swim, 40km bike and 10km run.

Coming off a second place finish behind Cameron Brown at Ironman New Zealand, Bozzone was impressive on the shorter course and stayed in the leading pack throughout the entire race.

Fourth out of the water with a 20:38 swim and third off the bike, he then faced a battle on the run against American Andrew Yoder.

Yoder came through to win the race, but Bozzone's second still saw him pocket US$4,000 in prize money.

Meanwhile in the pro women's race, Warriner back up her debut victory at Ironman NZ to once again finish on the podium.

She was fourth out of the water and third off the bike before running a time of 39:55 over 10km to finish third overall. For her efforts Warriner scoops US$2,000 in prize money.
