Terenzo Bozzone has found the podium again in the United States.

Bozzone ran to a second place finish at the Revolution3 Quassy Half in Middlebury, Connecticut.

He was just 12 seconds behind winner James Cunnama after striding clear of Joe Gambles, who he had been running alongside.

The podium finish is extra impressive for Bozzone, who has struggled with a frustrating Achilles injury recently that stopped him running for more than a month.

His Achilles was put to the test in the 2km swim, 90km bike and 21km half iron distance race, and it came through with flying colours.

It's also a repeat performance with the 26-year-old finishing second in the same race this time last year behind Craig Alexander.

Fellow Kiwi James Bowstead finished 17th overall in a time of 4:17:20.
