Tri NZ Board Voting 2010 - Now Open!

Part A Board Member Voting Pursuant to clause 5.3.4 of the Triathlon New Zealand Constitution, all current financial members receive the opportunity to vote for the vacant Part A seats on the Triathlon New Zealand Board. The Board is made up of four elected members (called Part A members who are elected by ballot of the membership) and two appointed members (called Part B members appointed by a Board Appointments Panel). For 2010/11 two Part A member seats are up for election and one Part B seat is up for appointment. Garry Boon and Juliet Fahey hold their current positions for another year. Triathlon New Zealand is using a confidential and secure online voting system for election of the Part A Board members. All results go directly to impartial auditors and information within is not released or accessible by any Triathlon New Zealand staff, current board or any other stakeholders. Members can only vote once and all votes will be checked against the current membership database. We encourage all members to get involved in the future of the sport and vote!
